The Mast è il personaggio con cui Marco Lanzuise porta la comicità dentro uno dei luoghi più seri della nostra quotidianità: il lavoro.
Imprenditore, “masto”, stratega del risparmio e irriducibile interprete dei propri interessi, Don Pasquale affronta dipendenti, ferie, straordinari, contratti e crisi aziendali con una logica tutta sua.
Dietro l’esagerazione comica c’è però qualcosa di estremamente riconoscibile: situazioni, linguaggi e dinamiche che appartengono al mondo reale. Ed è proprio lì che nasce la risata.
Nel curriculum di Marco, The Mast diventa poi anche una vera saga teatrale: Cercasi operaio con voglia di lavorare nel 2023, The Mast & Chef nel 2024 e Grand Hotel The Mast nel 2025.

THE MAST COMINCIA A PRENDERE FORMA
Nel lavoro televisivo e nei contenuti comici legati a Ultimo Stadio, Marco Lanzuise porta sempre più spesso la satira dentro il mondo del lavoro e dei rapporti tra capo e dipendente.
Tra il 2017 e il 2020 questa comicità trova spazio anche sul web, con video e contenuti che trasformano situazioni quotidiane, linguaggi aziendali e dinamiche lavorative in materia comica.

CERCASI OPERAIO CON VOGLIA DI LAVORARE
Nel 2023 The Mast lascia definitivamente lo spazio del singolo sketch e arriva a teatro con The Mast – Cercasi operaio con voglia di lavorare, diretto da Marco Lanzuise e scritto da Lanzuise e Salvatore Turco.
